The Site and Services are neither designed nor intended for any visitors under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you have any reason to believe that a visitor to the Site is under 13 years old, please contact us at Privacy@TireHub.com and we will endeavor to delete the information from our databases.

Information is not personal that is publicly available such as widely distributed media or information that a business has a reasonable basis to believe is lawfully made available to the general public by the consumer, lawfully obtained from federal, state, or local government records, or truthful information that is a matter of public concern.

When you access those links, you leave TireHub’s site and are redirected to a third-party website. TireHub does not control third-party websites, thus the privacy practices of third parties might differ from TireHub’s privacy practices. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. When you share personal information with third-party websites, the third-party processing is not covered by this Privacy Notice. **Please note – if you submit information about your references or former employers, or if you use a “share” option (or similar feature) that allows you to send information to another person, we will collect, at a minimum, the recipient’s contact information. In providing this information, you represent that you are authorized to provide it.

3. SOURCES FROM WHICH TIREHUB COLLECTS INFORMATION

TireHub collects personal information from several different sources, including:

  • Directly from a visitor to the TireHub website in search of products/services/information
  • Call, emails, chats, voice messages, video, recordings
  • Job candidates who complete an application for employment with TireHub or create a profile on this website may also provide credentials and other information relevant to the job application
  • Register to attend a TireHub event
  • From service providers or other third parties include publicly available sources, but not limited to social media, company websites, news applications/avenues, professional network services. Our site may include social media features, such as video links and other functionality to demonstrate your interest in our Site and other materials and may set a cookie to enable such functionality. This functionality may be hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. When provided or hosted by a third party, your use and interactions with these features is at your discretion and is governed by the privacy policy of the company providing them.

6. HOW TIREHUB SHARES PERSONAL INFORMATION

TireHub does not sell personal information to third parties. The term “sell” as defined under the CPRA, means selling, renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, transferring, or otherwise communicating orally, in writing, or by electronic or other means, a consumer’s personal information by the business to a third party for monetary or other valuable consideration. Any disclosure of personal information to third parties for cross context behavioral advertising, regardless of whether consideration is exchanged.

We may share/disclose your personal information as necessary:

Other than as stated in this Website Notice, we will not release your personal information to unknown or unaffiliated third parties, and we will not cross-reference your personal information with that of any other customer or entity.

7. HOW TIREHUB RETAINS PERSONAL INFORMATION

TireHub will only retain personal information for the length of time necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which the information was collected or as required or permitted by applicable laws, (including the resolution of disputes) and in accordance with our customer contracts.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the personal information, the purposes for which we process your personal information, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

When we no longer require your personal information, we will either delete or deidentify it or, if this is not possible, we will securely store it in accordance with this Website Notice and cease use of the personal information until deletion is possible. If we deidentify your personal information (so that it is no longer associated with you), we may retain this information for longer periods.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In accordance with this Privacy Notice, TireHub will investigate and attempt to resolve complaints and disputes regarding the use and disclosure of your personal information/sensitive personal information. Additionally, TireHub will cooperate with governmental authorities upon request.

We strongly encourage you to contact us directly with any complaints you may have regarding this Privacy Notice or our privacy practices prior to proceeding to the arbitration procedure described below.

If there are any privacy related dispute or concern that are still unable to be resolved to your satisfaction, both parties agree that those concerns/disputes shall be handled in accordance with applicable dispute resolution procedures through arbitration or mediation under the jurisdiction of the State of Georgia.

9. SECURITY

TireHub utilizes physical, technical, and administrative controls and procedures designed to safeguard the information we collect, prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, to maintain data accuracy of your personal information, and to restrict the processing of your personal information as set forth in this Privacy Notice. We utilize a variety of physical and logical access controls, firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, network and database monitoring, anti-virus, and backup systems. We use encrypted sessions when collecting or transferring sensitive data through our Site.

We limit access to your personal information and data to those persons who have a specific business purpose for maintaining and processing such information. Our employees who have been granted access to your personal information are made aware of their responsibilities to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of this information.

TireHub lets you create a username and password to log on to your TireHub account. You are responsible for keeping your account information, and especially your login information, confidential. We ask you not to share your login credentials with anyone as we are not responsible for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the confidentiality of your password. If you use messaging features that allow you to interact with TireHub directly through our Services and Site, please note that these communications are not encrypted and, for security purposes, you should never include any passwords, social security numbers, payment card information, or other Sensitive Personal Information in such communications. TireHub will respond to all correspondence within a reasonable timeframe, including as required by applicable law. To protect your privacy and security, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access to your personal information. These requests must come from the individual resident, or the resident may elect to designate an Authorized Agent to submit certain requests on their behalf. For an Authorized Agent to be verified, the resident must provide the Authorized Agent with signed written permission/power of attorney to make such requests on their behalf. TireHub may also follow up with you to verify your identity before processing the Authorized Agent’s request(s). Access and disclosure of information may be denied if the resident, and/or the Authorized Agent fail to provide proper identification. TireHub will respond to your request in a timely manner as we are able to process your request. Please note that certain information may be exempt from such requests under California law and TireHub may deny a request. We will notify you regarding any decision and reason(s)
